Position Summary
We are currently looking for a Showroom Assistant to join our energetic team in Colombo 05. The ideal candidate will have a passion for retail, excellent interpersonal skills, and a proactive attitude toward customer engagement. You will play a key role in maintaining the showroom’s appearance, managing inventory, and providing top-tier assistance to all walk-in customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers, answering inquiries about products and promotions
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing showroom
- Support the sales team in meeting customer needs and sales goals
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking shelves or displays
- Provide product information and recommendations to customers
- Ensure all promotional materials and product displays are up to date
- Handle basic billing, packaging, or stock entry (training will be provided)
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
Requirements & Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail, showroom, or customer service roles preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- A customer-first mindset and a helpful, positive attitude
- Basic computer literacy is an advantage
- Minimum: G.C.E. O/L qualification; further education is a plus
- Fluent in Sinhala or English (both preferred)
