Job Summary

The Workday Sr Lead Engineer will lead testing and development activities, support security and cross-application initiatives, troubleshoot BAU issues, and collaborate with global teams to ensure high-quality Workday HCM system operations.

Responsibilities

• Work with functional and technical teams to define and implement test plans for Workday and related applications

• Lead testing activities for system enhancements, projects, and ongoing improvements

• Support privacy, security (including proxy access), and user experience testing

• Spot trends, analyse Level 3 support issues, and recommend improvements

• Troubleshoot and resolve BAU issues in partnership with technical teams

• Keep documentation and testing practices aligned to global standards

• Communicate findings clearly-both written and verbal-with a range of partners

• Own your work and take initiative

Qualifications

• Experience with Workday or similar HCM systems (PeopleSoft, SAP, Oracle)

• Familiarity with configuration, security testing, and business process flows

• A keen eye for detail and confidence in raising issues or insights

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work with global teams and manage deadlines across time zones

• A proactive mindset-you enjoy learning and improving how things work

• Nice to have: Experience supporting HRIS/People Technology teams

• Nice to have: Exposure to security architecture or integrations is a plus
