DFCC Bank seeks a Senior Network & Security Engineer for its IT Department in Colombo. You will design and manage the bank’s network infrastructure, ensure security compliance, and coordinate with service providers.

Responsibilities

• Designing and managing enterprise network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, and VPN across branches and data centers.

• Ensuring continuous network availability and performance through proactive monitoring and optimization.

• Coordinating with ISPs and service providers for link provisioning, maintenance, and SLA adherence.

• Administering SD-WAN and data center connectivity to support redundancy and high availability.

• Implementing network security controls and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal standards.

• Monitoring network performance and leading incident resolution and root cause analysis.

• Maintaining accurate documentation, reporting on network metrics, and managing billing reconciliation.

Qualifications

• Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in network and security engineering.

• Have a bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or an equivalent professional qualification.

• Be proficient in routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF and EIGRP, as well as in VLANs, VPNs, and MPLS.

• Have familiarity with firewalls, NAC, IPS, and network monitoring tools.

• Possess experience in managing multiple ISPs and coordinating with service providers.

• Be knowledgeable about information security standards including ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and CBSL guidelines.

• Possess strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
