Job Summary

The Junior Designer supports the creative and retail functions by producing accurate drawings, assisting with design development, and engaging with customers on bespoke orders. The role requires strong attention to detail, collaboration with senior designers, and proactive involvement in daily showroom activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate hand-drawn scaled drawings for bespoke orders and new design ideas
• Assist the senior design team with concept development for collections and special projects
• Be involved in customer consultations, helping understand design preferences and sketching simple options when required
• Support the showroom team with small design tasks and general creative requirements
• Maintain basic design documentation and references for ongoing work

Qualifications

• A recognised qualification in jewellery design
• Interest or early exposure to the jewellery field is preferred but not essential
• Comfortable with hand sketching and basic scaled drawing
• Good communication skills and a willingness to work closely with the retail team
• An interest in learning and growing within a jewellery environment
