Job Summary

This role requires an experienced Indian Speciality Chef who delivers authentic flavors and consistently high culinary standards. You will prepare regional dishes, maintain quality, guide junior staff, and support menu enhancement while ensuring full compliance with food safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present authentic Indian dishes with consistent quality
• Specialize in regional Indian cuisine and tandoor techniques
• Ensure all food is prepared according to hotel standards and food safety guidelines
• Support menu development and introduce new Indian dishes
• Oversee mise-en-place, kitchen organization, and daily culinary operations
• Train and guide junior staff on Indian culinary practices
• Ensure full compliance with HACCP and sanitation standards

Qualifications

• 3 – 5+ years of experience as an Indian Cuisine Chef in a hotel or reputable restaurant
• Strong knowledge of Indian spices, regional cooking methods, and traditional flavors
• Expertise in tandoor cooking, curries, biryanis, and Indian breads
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and leadership skills
• Culinary certification or professional training is an added advantage
