Job Summary

The Guest Service Associate will deliver exceptional food and beverage service, build strong guest relationships, and ensure a refined dining experience in a luxury hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

1. Execute impeccable and timely table service for all meal periods and hotel areas.

2. Master menu items and beverage offerings; provide wine pairings and tailored recommendations.

3. Accurately record and communicate orders to the kitchen to ensure efficient delivery.

4. Engage with guests, personalize service, and build lasting relationships.

5. Maintain cleanliness and ambiance in all dining and lounge areas.

6. Handle guest complaints professionally and aim for quick resolution.

7. Assist with opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and sales reporting.

8. Manage non-perishable stock and maintain organized service areas.

9. Coordinate with kitchen and front office teams on guest requirements and in-room dining.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Waiter or F&B Associate in a hotel, café, or fine-dining restaurant.
• Strong service aptitude with a proactive, customer-focused mindset.
• Excellent communication in English; proficiency in Sinhala and/or Tamil is an advantage.
• Impeccable grooming, hygiene, and presentation standards.
• Flexibility to work variable shifts, including evenings and weekends.
