Job Summary

The Growth & Operations Lead manages daily operations across multiple Catalist pages, supports outreach and partnerships, and ensures seamless content workflow. The role requires strong coordination, communication, and the ability to maintain quality across regions.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily workflow across Catalist Sri Lanka, Catalist Malaysia, Habitat UAE & new verticals
Ensure content moves smoothly from idea → script → edit → publish
Coordinate with editors, writers, and interns
Maintain high consistency and quality across all pages
Reach out to founders, startups, real estate developers, brands, and agencies
Initiate conversations and explore collaboration opportunities
Support in closing features, partnerships, and paid deals
Manage a simple pipeline for ongoing leads
Review drafts for clarity and structure
Suggest ideas based on what performs on our pages
Identify interesting stories, businesses, and real estate opportunities in MY/SL/UAE
Assist in launching new pages or verticals
Bring market awareness and local insights
Help shape the direction of content based on audience behaviour
Keep all moving parts on track
Troubleshoot delays or blockers
Ensure nothing slips through the cracks
Provide clear weekly updates to the Founder

Qualifications

Organised and reliable
Confident speaking to founders & brands
Able to manage multiple tasks at once
Comfortable working independently
Someone who naturally takes initiative
Fast-moving and resourceful
Curious about business, real estate & media
Excited to help build something that’s scaling across multiple countries
Experience in operations, BD, partnerships, or project coordination
Strong communication skills (DMs, calls, follow-ups)
Excellent organisational skills
Ability to manage multiple projects across teams
High sense of ownership
Experience in media, marketing, startups, or real estate
Familiarity with social media formats
A network within Malaysian business circles
