Job Summary
The Exhibition Sales Executive will contact potential exhibitors, manage sales pipelines, and secure exhibition spaces and sponsorships. The role involves outreach, CRM maintenance, collaboration with internal teams, and supporting exhibitor success in international events from Colombo.
Responsibilities
• Work on multiple exhibitions across specialist sectors that attract industry leaders from around the globe.
• Build and nurture a pipeline of potential exhibitors, selling exhibition space and sponsorships over the phone.
• Drive weekly sales campaigns and aim to exceed your annual targets.
• Keep our CRM updated with accurate, valuable information.
• Pitch our exhibitions to senior decision-makers – from SMEs to multinational corporations – through confident cold calling and warm relationship-building.
• Support both new and returning exhibitors to maximize their ROI from our events.
• Collaborate with marketing, operations, and other teams to ensure every event is a success.
Qualifications
• Great communication skills, a can-do attitude, and the hunger to learn (freshers welcome).
• Bright, ambitious, and eager to grow.
• Strong verbal, written, and email communication skills.
• A proactive team player who’s highly organized and self-motivated.
• Comfortable using MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and social media platforms like LinkedIn and Xing to connect with prospects.
