Job Summary

The Executive Director leads strategic planning, program management, and organizational development for Sri Lanka Unites. The role demands strong leadership, effective stakeholder engagement, and financial oversight for multi-district initiatives.


Qualifications (Extracted Exactly as Provided)

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Development Studies, International Relations, or a related field; equivalent qualifications will be considered.
• A Master’s degree in Leadership, Organizational Development, or Business Administration (MBA) is preferred.
• 8 to 10 years of experience in leadership roles within non-profit management, project administration, or organizational development, including 3 to 5 years at a senior leadership or director level.
• Proven experience in strategic planning, budgeting, and managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated success in stakeholder engagement, donor relations, and board reporting.
• Background in financial oversight, monitoring and evaluation, and organizational performance management.
• Experience with multi-district or national-level programs is desirable.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
• Capacity to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
• A commitment to the mission, values, and reconciliation goals of Sri Lanka Unites.
• Proficiency in English; fluency in Sinhala or Tamil is preferred.
