Job Summary

The Executive/Associate Manager – Enterprise Risk Management will assess and monitor organizational risks, ensure internal controls, and provide guidance on risk mitigation. The role involves analyzing emerging risks, reporting to management, and enhancing risk awareness across the group.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, identify, report potential risks associated with the processes, and monitor risk mitigation action plans to ensure that they are in line with the Risk appetite and Risk limits of the company.

• Identify, evaluate emerging risks and its impact on exposures and manage them proactively.

• Monitor key risk indicators to manage and ensure risk mitigation actions are deployed.

• Ensure that the overall risk strategy, policies, and procedures are in compliance with regulatory guidelines.

• Prepare reports and presentations to board/ IRMC and other management committees.

• Provide guidance and create risk awareness by conducting trainings.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate should be below 35 years.

• 2-4 years of experience in risk management in finance industry.

• A degree from a recognized university/full or part qualification in CIMA (UK), Charted Accountancy/ any other finance, internal auditing, risk, related qualification.

• Demonstrate excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.

• Should be conversant in Microsoft Office Packages.

• The ability to work in a team.

• Should be a proactive, self-motivated and target oriented personality.
