Job Summary

The Data Analyst – Time-Series & Forecasting extracts insights from complex datasets, develops forecasting models, and collaborates with stakeholders to transform data into practical, actionable outputs for strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and model time-series sensor data to detect trends, anomalies, and forecasting opportunities.

• Apply signal processing techniques to clean noisy, largely unlabeled datasets and extract meaningful features.

• Develop and validate forecasting models that generate actionable insights and long-term trends.

• Work closely with internal stakeholders to translate analytical findings into clear, practical outputs — while deployment and integration are handled by the cloud/engineering team.

• Explore advanced approaches such as transformers, deep learning, or large language models (LLMs) to enhance predictive performance and improve accessibility of complex outputs.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline (PhD desirable).

• More than 6 years of experience in a data science or analytics role, with a proven focus on model development and statistical analysis.

• Experience working with time-series data or familiarity with sensor datasets.

• Strong programming skills in Python, R, or Julia, and strong SQL for data extraction and manipulation.

• Hands-on experience with large, noisy, and unlabeled datasets, with strong problem-solving skills.

• Exposure to deep learning techniques (e.g., transformers), LLMs, or data-to-text generation to enhance user-facing insights (nice to have).
