About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Garment Technologist to join our product development team. This critical role involves overseeing the entire pattern-making and sample development process, working closely with the internal development team, sample room, and end buyers from tech pack stage through to bulk production. You will ensure samples are delivered on time, meet quality expectations, and are production-ready.

This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate with a strong background in pattern making, grading, and technical garment construction, particularly in performance or activewear. Your work will directly influence the quality, fit, and manufacturability of our garments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop accurate patterns and apply grading rules aligned with customer specifications.
  • Manage the end-to-end pattern process—from initial development to final bulk pattern handover.
  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure styles are production-feasible without compromising design integrity.
  • Ensure timely delivery of fit samples and pre-production samples while maintaining quality standards.
  • Liaise with garment technicians, industrial engineers, and other stakeholders to improve the technical and production viability of styles.
  • Submit accurate consumption data for trims and coordinate with marker makers to optimize fabric usage.
  • Provide support and technical insight across departments to deliver a consistent and efficient development-to-production workflow.

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Textile Technology, Apparel Production, or Fashion Design from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in garment technology, pattern making, and grading—ideally within activewear or performance categories.
  • Strong understanding of sewing techniques, construction methods, and production constraints.
  • Familiarity with bonding technologies, CAD pattern systems, and fit evaluation is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally across development and manufacturing teams.
