As we expand our global development and QA operations, we are looking for a System Tester / QA Engineer to join our growing team in Sri Lanka.
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled QA Engineer with a strong background in SIP/VoIP technologies. You will work on advanced testing of communication systems that support critical real-time voice and media applications in high-security industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct system-level testing of IP-based communication solutions.
- Configure and troubleshoot SIP/VoIP servers such as Asterisk or OpenSIPS.
- Analyze SIP signaling and media flows for performance and accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional development teams to resolve product issues.
- Support both manual and automated test strategies across different scenarios.
- Prepare detailed documentation, reports, and test case validations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in system testing or QA roles.
- Strong knowledge of SIP, VoIP, and IP-based communication protocols.
- Hands-on experience with SIP server configuration (Asterisk, FreeSWITCH, OpenSIPS, etc.).
- Familiarity with Linux systems and basic network administration.
- Proficiency in analyzing logs and debugging complex communication errors.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable Skills (Highly Regarded)
- Programming or scripting experience in Python or C++.
- Background in real-time communication systems or telephony infrastructure.
- Knowledge of media streaming protocols (RTP, RTSP) and network-level diagnostics.
