Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Company Secretary (CS) to join our Chennai-based team. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for overseeing legal and statutory compliance, maintaining regulatory documentation, and offering strategic administrative support to the board. This role is ideal for professionals who excel in corporate governance, legal documentation, and stakeholder coordination within a global business environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure company compliance with all statutory obligations under the Companies Act and other applicable regulations
  • Prepare and maintain board meeting agendas, minutes, resolutions, and legal filings
  • Manage communication between the Board of Directors, regulators, stakeholders, and auditors
  • Maintain statutory registers, records, and ensure timely filing of necessary forms and returns
  • Advise the management and directors on governance best practices and legal developments
  • Coordinate with external legal counsel, government agencies, and financial auditors
  • Support company documentation for new projects, agreements, partnerships, and MOUs
  • Stay updated on changes in corporate, financial, and regulatory laws impacting the healthcare export industry

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Qualified Company Secretary (CS) from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI)
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in an export, healthcare, or manufacturing environment
  • In-depth understanding of Indian corporate law, compliance procedures, and regulatory bodies
  • Strong documentation, reporting, and record-keeping skills
  • Excellent communication, legal drafting, and interpersonal abilities
  • High degree of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism

Preferred Experience

  • Exposure to international trade compliance or experience working with export companies
  • Familiarity with FDA, WHO-GMP, and international medical export documentation is a plus
  • Prior experience liaising with external legal advisors and statutory bodies
