About the Role
We are on the lookout for a passionate and results-driven Web Developer to join our fast-growing team. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, optimise, and troubleshoot existing WordPress/WooCommerce websites.
- Lead the design and development of new web platforms for emerging brands.
- Ensure sites are secure, responsive, fast-loading, and mobile-friendly.
- Implement and monitor on-page SEO and technical SEO best practices.
- Conduct keyword research and assist in content strategy alignment.
- Monitor and enhance Core Web Vitals, page speed, and mobile usability.
- Use tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and Hotjar to drive improvements.
- Integrate third-party tools like CRMs, chatbots, personalization engines, and analytics platforms.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing and Design teams to maintain brand consistency.
- Create landing pages, blog posts, and product pages for marketing campaigns.
- Evaluate and recommend new CMS platforms (e.g., Shopify) where appropriate.
- Explore and integrate AI-based tools to enhance user interaction and personalization.
Requirements
- Proven expertise in WordPress & WooCommerce, including plugin customization and performance tuning.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.
- Familiarity with SEO principles, analytics tools, and site auditing platforms.
- Bonus: Experience with AI tools, chatbots, and data personalization technologies.
- Ability to debug, problem-solve, and think critically under pressure.
- Familiarity with other CMS platforms like Shopify or custom CMS solutions.
