Position Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated and organized Human Resources Assistant to join our HR team at Nawaloka Hospital Negombo. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of our HR department, ensuring smooth execution of HR functions such as employee onboarding, record management, performance tracking, and training coordination. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update employee records with confidentiality and accuracy
- Manage HRIS and ensure data integrity across systems
- Assist in the onboarding process, including documentation and orientation scheduling
- Support employee performance appraisal processes
- Coordinate internal training and development initiatives
- Help ensure HR policies comply with Sri Lankan labor laws
- Provide administrative support in recruitment, payroll coordination, and employee engagement activities
- Act as a liaison between departments for HR-related matters
Qualifications & Skills
- Degree or professional qualification in Human Resource Management or Business Administration
- Minimum 2 years of HR experience in a corporate or healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of Sri Lankan labor laws and HR practices
- Experience in onboarding, training coordination, and performance management
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and interpersonal communication
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with HRIS platforms
