Role Summary
We are looking for a passionate and organized Tour Coordinator to join our growing team in Ja-Ela. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing guided tours, ensuring a flawless customer journey, and contributing to the delivery of exceptional travel experiences. Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and manage guided tour itineraries and group excursions across Sri Lanka
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients before and during tours
- Liaise with hotels, transportation providers, and tour guides to ensure seamless service delivery
- Provide pre-departure briefings, coordinate last-minute changes, and resolve travel-related issues
- Assist in developing new travel packages and support promotional activities
- Collaborate with the sales team to upsell services and enhance client satisfaction
- Maintain accurate tour documentation and post-trip feedback records
- Ensure a consistently high level of customer service and follow-up communication
Qualifications & Skills
- Prior experience in tour coordination, event planning, or travel operations
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
- Sales-oriented mindset with a passion for the travel and hospitality industry
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail
- Proficient in MS Office tools, email, and booking platforms
- Fluency in English is required; multilingual ability is a strong advantage
- Knowledge of Sri Lankan geography, culture, and tourist destinations is preferred
- Flexible, enthusiastic, and capable of working independently or within a team
