Role Overview
We are on the lookout for a dynamic and enthusiastic Talent Acquisition Officer (Intern) who will play a key role in engaging with prospective students, providing program information, and helping them take the first step into their career transformation. If you’re passionate about communication, tech education, and people development this opportunity is for you!
Key Responsibilities
- Initiate and manage communication with student inquiries via phone calls, WhatsApp, Facebook, LinkedIn, and email.
- Educate prospective students about SpaceXP’s training programs, schedules, fees, and outcomes in a clear and persuasive manner.
- Assist with student onboarding and registration processes from initial contact to final enrollment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date communication records and report progress to management.
- Follow up consistently with leads and ensure a smooth admission journey for each candidate.
- Collaborate with the marketing and academic teams to align messaging and improve conversion strategies.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication in English and Sinhala and/or Tamil.
- Confident, friendly, and proactive personality with the ability to influence and build rapport.
- Capable of managing objections, clarifying doubts, and closing conversations professionally.
- Prior exposure to sales, customer support, educational marketing, or academic counseling is preferred.
- A basic understanding of IT/tech education trends is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
