Role Overview
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Trainee Travel Assistants. This role offers full-time employment and involves working on a hybrid roster aligned with UK time zones. Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior travel consultants in processing airline ticket reservations and related documentation.
- Support in preparing travel itineraries and price quotations.
- Communicate with clients professionally via email, phone, and messaging platforms.
- Maintain accurate records and files for all bookings and customer details.
- Use basic Microsoft Office tools to prepare reports and manage customer databases.
- Stay informed about global geography and airline routes to support travel planning.
- Contribute to a positive team environment and uphold high standards of customer service.
Candidate Requirements
- Successfully completed the GCE Advanced Level examination (A/L).
- Currently pursuing or planning to pursue a qualification in airline fares, ticketing, or travel will be a definite advantage.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office packages (Excel, Word, etc.).
- A good understanding of world geography and interest in global travel.
- Proficiency in English and Sinhala and/or Tamil – both verbal and written.
- Friendly, team-oriented personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
