We are looking for a highly motivated Assistant Procurement Manager to help lead and refine our procurement operations. This role is instrumental in ensuring that our sourcing, contract management, and inventory planning align seamlessly with our business objectives. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day procurement functions including vendor sourcing, purchase order processing, and contract negotiation
  • Source, assess, and onboard new suppliers for both current and future business needs
  • Lead procurement initiatives related to new products, services, and market expansion
  • Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and contractual agreements with suppliers to maximize value
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as production, operations, and finance to ensure seamless procurement integration
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages and overstocking
  • Track and analyze key procurement metrics (cost savings, delivery performance, supplier quality, etc.)
  • Conduct vendor audits, maintain accurate supplier records, and resolve supplier-related issues efficiently
  • Support continuous process improvements and contribute to developing a robust procurement strategy
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing standards

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3- 9 years of hands-on experience in procurement, preferably in a leadership or assistant managerial role
  • Proficient in procurement ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms
  • Exceptional negotiation and vendor management skills
  • Solid understanding of sourcing practices, cost analysis, and market research
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement
