Role Overview
We are seeking seasoned Fractional Cybersecurity Specialists to join our expert network and support client organizations in safeguarding their digital ecosystems. In this role, you’ll work remotely with businesses across various industries, offering on-demand cybersecurity services ranging from vulnerability assessments and incident response to policy audits and security architecture consulting.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor network activity, logs, and systems for suspicious behavior or breach attempts
- Conduct vulnerability scans and guide remediation efforts with internal tech teams
- Assist in configuring and optimizing cybersecurity tools such as EDRs, SIEMs, and firewalls
- Support security incident response plans and manage alert triage or active incidents
- Perform internal audits, risk assessments, and compliance checks (NIST, SOC 2, ISO 27001, etc.)
- Collaborate with DevOps/IT teams to enforce secure architecture principles
- Stay updated with evolving threat landscapes and regulatory requirements
- Provide clear and actionable reporting to stakeholders or compliance auditors
Required Skills & Experience
- Demonstrated experience in cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or similar IT security roles
- Hands-on knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern enterprise systems
- Proficiency in tools such as CrowdStrike, Tenable, Splunk, Palo Alto, or similar platforms
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks like NIST CSF, CIS Controls, ISO 27001, and SOC 2
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in high-trust, remote environments
- Certifications such as CEH, CISSP, CISA, OSCP, or CompTIA Security+ are advantageous
- Experience supporting startups, SaaS businesses, or international teams is a plus
