Role Overview
We are looking for a dedicated Maintenance Engineer to ensure the smooth and safe operation of all electrical and mechanical systems in our facility. This role involves regular inspections, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repair of critical production machinery. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical acumen, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical issues on various machinery and systems.
- Conduct equipment inspections and implement safety and performance enhancements.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, service logs, and equipment history.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and improve system reliability.
- Ensure all maintenance work complies with industry standards, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Interpret technical diagrams, manuals, and schematics to guide maintenance procedures.
- Assist in installations, commissioning, and upgrades of new machinery when required.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 3–4 years of hands-on experience in equipment maintenance and engineering.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, fault diagnosis, and industrial safety standards.
- Proficiency in maintenance tools and techniques, including thermography, insulation testing, and circuit diagnostics.
- Ability to read technical drawings and manuals for troubleshooting and repair.
- Strong problem-solving, time management, and communication skills.

- Residing near Katunayake or willing to commute daily is preferred.
