HCLTech seeks an SAP Database Administrator for its Colombo office at Cinnamon Life. You will manage SAP system administration, database operations (HANA, Oracle, MSSQL), performance optimization, security, and disaster recovery on a 24/7 shift basis as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage installation, configuration, and lifecycle operations of SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, PI/PO, Solution Manager).

• Administer SAP Business Technology Platform services including Cloud Foundry, Kyma, and connectivity with on-premise systems via SAP Cloud Connector.

• Perform advanced administration tasks for HANA, Oracle, and MSSQL databases including backups, restores, performance tuning, and patching.

• Monitor and optimize performance across SAP applications and databases, ensuring high availability and responsiveness.

• Manage transport routes, CTS+, and ChaRM /Rev-Trac for controlled and compliant change deployments.

• Administer user roles, profiles, and authorizations; enforce security policies across SAP and database layers.

• Execute system and client copies, including automation and validation for both SAP and database environments.

• Design and implement robust backup strategies and disaster recovery plans for SAP and database systems.

• Proactively monitor system health and resolve complex issues across SAP BASIS, BTP, and database layers.

• Maintain detailed technical documentation and collaborate with cross-functional teams including infrastructure, development, and cloud operations.
