Job Summary

The Assistant IT Manager strengthens the hotel’s technology landscape by maintaining critical systems and supporting digital transformation efforts. The role ensures dependable IT performance, swift issue resolution, and secure operations that contribute to a seamless guest and staff experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the hotel’s IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, POS systems, Wi-Fi, CCTV, hardware, and software.
• Provide timely technical support to all departments and ensure minimal downtime.
• Maintain and troubleshoot hotel management systems (IDS/OPERA/POS Systems).
• Monitor system performance, backups, updates, and security protocols.
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for IT-related maintenance and projects.
• Support cybersecurity initiatives by monitoring threats, managing access controls, and ensuring policy compliance.
• Assist in system upgrades, digital initiatives, and process automation.
• Maintain IT documentation, asset registers, and support logs.
• Train employees on basic IT practices, system usage, and data security.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of IT experience, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of networks, servers, firewalls, POS systems, hotel PMS, and general IT troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of cybersecurity best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• A proactive team player with the willingness to learn and grow in boutique hospitality.
