Job Summary

The Assistant Night Duty Manager guides evening and overnight hotel operations, ensuring seamless guest service and a safe environment. The role supports the Front Office and Night Team while maintaining service standards and addressing guest needs with confidence and care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day functioning of the hotel during night hours, ensuring smooth guest experiences.
• Lead and guide the Front Office and Night Team, ensuring professionalism, safety, and excellent service.
• Handle guest arrivals, departures, special requests, and late-night service needs with efficiency and hospitality.
• Conduct regular property walks to ensure the safety, cleanliness, and security of all areas.
• Manage night audits, daily reports, and financial reconciliation in coordination with the Finance team.
• Respond to emergencies and resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally.
• Ensure all night standards, procedures, and policies are followed consistently.
• Support the Night Manager/Front Office Manager in operational improvements and team development.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Front Office or customer-facing hospitality roles.
• Experience in night operations is an advantage, but not essential.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong customer service mindset and attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and proactive during high-pressure or unexpected situations.
• Knowledge of hotel PMS systems (preferably IDS/Opera or similar).
• Ideal for young, ambitious professionals who wish to grow in the boutique hotel industry.
