Job Summary
This role supports customer care and marketing functions by managing communication, handling inquiries, and contributing to reporting tasks. The intern actively works with multiple teams to ensure each customer interaction aligns with Mackly’s values and service expectations.
Responsibilities
Customer Communication & Call Handling
• Handle inbound and outbound calls in a friendly and professional manner.
• Provide information on orders, exchanges/returns, and product details.
• Maintain accurate call logs and follow-up updates.
Online Review Monitoring & Management
• Monitor reviews and messages across Google, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp Business, MyPOS, Mackly stores, and marketplace platforms.
• Respond appropriately to feedback — celebrating the positives and addressing concerns with empathy.
• Compile weekly and monthly review sentiment reports.
Customer Feedback & Enquiry Management
• Maintain daily feedback and enquiry logs on Excel/Google Sheets.
• Categorize issues, record actions taken, and track escalations.
• Prepare weekly and monthly summaries highlighting recurring themes and insights.
Reporting & Insights
• Prepare daily/weekly reports on customer issues, inquiries, and trends.
• Support marketing performance reports with customer insights.
• Assist in basic data extraction from Shopify, MyPOS, and social dashboards.
Qualifications
Education
• Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Marketing, Business Management, Communication, or a related field.
Skills & Competencies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Tamil/Sinhala an advantage).
• Basic proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and customer engagement tools.
• Strong organizational and multitasking ability.
• A positive attitude, curiosity, and willingness to learn.
Experience
• Previous internship or college project in marketing, communication, or customer service is an advantage but not mandatory.
