Job Summary

The Automation Engineer will design, develop, and maintain automated systems, working closely with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency and support technical operations. The role includes troubleshooting, documentation, and contributing to automation initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts, workflows, and tools to optimize business processes.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable automation solutions.

  • Conduct testing, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high reliability and performance of automated systems.

  • Monitor and maintain automation frameworks, identifying opportunities for improvements.

  • Document automation processes, scripts, and technical specifications for knowledge sharing and compliance.

  • Support integration with existing platforms, applications, and IT systems.

  • Work closely with IT, operations, and business teams to implement automation initiatives efficiently.

  • Provide ongoing support, updates, and enhancements for deployed automation solutions.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in automation tools

  • Strong programming or scripting skills (Python, Java, JavaScript, or other relevant languages).

  • Understanding of business processes and the ability to identify automation opportunities.

  • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.

  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing tasks independently.

  • Flexibility to work part-time hours with potential for remote or on-site presence as needed.

  • Added advantage: 2–3 years of experience in enterprise automation, RPA, or IT systems integration.
