Job Summary

The Senior IT Section Leader leads a high-performing technical team to deliver exceptional IT solutions and customer service. This position oversees IT operations, manages projects, and ensures business goals align with technology initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Maintains an aggregate view of customer demand for IT support versus IT resource capacity.
• Evaluates resource availability and assigns work based on priority and skill set.
• Assigns production support tasks to application development resources.
• Designs and uses management reports for resource utilization to maximize IT resources.
• Manages selection and implementation of resource planning tools.
• Partners with IT and business leadership to drive project approval and prioritization.
• Drives team performance to deliver work on time and within budget.
• Monitors project performance against success metrics.
• Analyzes and communicates the impact of scope changes on estimates and resource plans.
• Manages purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and vendor invoices for IT suppliers.
• Motivates and coaches associates, conducts performance reviews, and sets development plans.
• Recognizes and rewards performance aligned with company objectives.
• Provides subject matter expertise to supported functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, MIS, computer science, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive IT and management experience.
• Proven project management record with on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• 2–4 years of project management experience with business process modeling preferred.
• 7+ years with SAP Finance and controlling module.
• Master’s Degree or MBA preferred.
• Leadership and team-building experience.
• Knowledge of IT frameworks, SDLC methodologies, and advanced MS Office skills.
• Strong presentation and documentation abilities.
• High-performance organizational leadership skills and accountability.
